We need an estimate on a new furnace for our house, 21 Garretson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10304-2806. Phone: 718-644-9979 What are your recommendations?
Let me start by saying thank you for contacting Ecostruct regarding your project. I’d love to assist you with determining the right furnace for your home. First off, is there currently a furnace in the home, and if so, what type of fuel does it burn? Secondly, is the house piped for steam, hot water or forced air distribution?
Choosing the most effective heating system for any home can be a bit challenging. In my opinion, the most efficient way to make this decision is to first determine the size of the area to be heated and qualify the current condition of your home’s insulation. To this end, my initial recommendation, especially if this is an older house, is to perform a comprehensive whole building analysis. As a BPI certified analyst and contractor, I am qualified to provide you a full diagnostic energy audit on your home, basically ensuring that your house is operating efficiently and maintaining a healthy environment for you and your family. At the conclusion of the analysis, I will provide you a scope of work that will include my recommendation for your heating system, as well as any other adjustments or maintenance that I believe will assist the level of efficiency. If you proceed with this work scope with either my company or another BPI/NYSERDA certified contractor, there are generally state funded rebates that can be realized to assist with your capital expenses. Once the work has been performed, I will “test out” your home and provide you a written report detailing the work completed and the energy savings realized. The cost of this audit will range somewhere between $400 – $650 depending on the size of the house.
The second option is to not perform an audit and choose a furnace based on the past performance of the house utilizing year to date utility bills for the home. If you’d like, I’d be happy to meet and look at your setup this weekend, free of charge, to discuss some possible options going forward. In the meantime, if you have any questions that I can address please do not hesitate to contact me directly at the number below.
Thank you again for your interest in Ecostruct. I hope to hear from you soon!

We found your firm on the NY Passive House website and are interested in speaking to you about a renovation project of our home in Brooklyn. Would it be possible to schedule some time this week to discuss further?
Let me start by apologizing for my massive delay in response. I’ve been out of the country for most of this month and have had very limited access to my emails. I imagine that you have already addressed the work needed in your home with another contractor, but I figured I would reach out anyway. Unfortunately, due to a drastically overloaded schedule, Ecostruct will be unavailable for any new services until mid-late September. While of course I would like to be able to do the work myself in September, we do work with several other companies that I can personally vouch for and highly recommend as an alternative. If you are still looking for some help with this and are interested in either option, please let me know and I will be back in touch immediately.
Again my deepest apologies for the delay and do hope to work with you in the future.

Thank you for your interest in our services. Let me begin by apologizing for the delay in response. I’ve been out of the country for much of the month and have had limited access to my email. I would love to assist with the table you are considering. The planter that you saw on my site cost $950 to build and install and was just under 4′ in length. Of course, the size can be completely customizable based on your specifications. If you are still looking for help with this, please feel free to contact me at your convenience to discuss some options.
Thank you again for your consideration. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Sorry for the delay in response. Your project definitely sounds interesting. If possible could I schedule a time to come and meet with you to check site conditions in person? It will help me get a clearer picture and allow me to make a more accurate estimate as to the scope you’ve provided. Let me know what works for you and I’d love to set something up.
Thanks for considering Ecostruct for your project. I look forward to hearing from you!
I saw some of the outdoor/backyard work you did on thesweeten.com, and would love to have you come out for a consultation on a Williamburg townhouse I just purchased.
Thanks for your email and congrats on the new purchase! We just wrapped up a big backyard project on North 6th street a couple of weeks ago, that came out spectacularly. What is it you’re looking to do? I’d be happy to swing by sometime next week to meetup and go over your scope of work plans and discuss further your timeline. What works for you? I’m available in the afternoon on Monday or Tuesday, then again on Thursday.
Let me know and I’ll plan on stopping by.
Thanks again for your interest in Ecostruct. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hello I am looking to replace a oil boiler with a gas powered boiler. I would like a estimate on the amount of money that would require from your company to make that type of change for me. As well as do you offer payment plans for that type of work? Please get back to me as soon as possible because I am renovating a piece of property that I own and I have no way of moving out the huge oil powered boiler from the basement.
Thank you for your note. Id love to setup a time to meet with you and take a look at your project. I’m away through Wednesday but could set something up sometime thereafter. Let me know if there is a time that works best for you and I’ll try to make it happen on this end.
Thanks again for considering Ecostruct for your project. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Thank You for responding Jon are you free Thursday,Friday, or Saturday this week? please contact me through my email so I can give you my address as well as more information.
Portions of our wood floor have been damaged due to dog urine. I have attempted to lift these stains with peroxide, and while the areas are lighter, the floors are still not in a state that I am happy with. I am looking for someone who could help in repairing our floors.
We are a public school in Boerum Hill that recently started a school garden. We would like to have a
Seating area for the kids in the garden so we can hold lessons there, but have a limited budget, making good quality benches too expensive. We were thinking of building a multilevel platform instead. Would that be something you would be able to do?
Thank you for your email. Its hard to say what costs would be site unseen, but this is definitely something that we do and there are several options. I’d be happy to stop by early this afternoon if convenient for you to take a quick look. Let me know your schedule and what works best.
I just wanted to follow up quickly on our correspondence from last week and see if you were still interested in meeting to discuss the work you have planned at the Boerum Hill school. If you’re available sometime early next week I’d be happy to swing by and discuss your scope of work.
Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, I’m interested in a salad table similar what you posted on another site (http://www.adsinusa.com/p/3817/3817o20242b.jpg). How much do you typically charge for something like that?
